Trump’s Tax Cut Delivers $65 Billion Windfall
March 31, 2026 at 7:09 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Bloomberg: “Some of the country’s wealthiest corporations are calculating they owe far less to the Internal Revenue Service as a result of President Donald Trump’s overhauled tax code, underscoring how a law billed as a middle‑class cut also turned out to be a big win for Corporate America.”

“Nearly a dozen of the 50 biggest US-listed companies attributed a drop in federal cash income taxes last year as a direct result of Trump’s $3.4 trillion sweeping tax law, according to a Bloomberg analysis of regulatory filings. In all, annual corporate tax revenues dropped by $65 billion following the law’s passage.”

They don't want to pay for public education, their kids go to private school.
They want to make it easy to con those that lack critical thinking into buying their products and to vote for politicians that are not looking out for them. They push those useless BS issues like men in women sports and those coming to America are going to take their jobs, etc. And of course they want the masses to pay all of the taxes.
Am I wrong?

The same (except for modest COL increases) for the last several years.

I usually get about two thousand dollars back in a refund.

This year I got $3800. An $1800 increase due to changes in the tax code.

Is that the "windfall" they are talking about?

Not much of a windfall, is it?
