TMZ reported on Sunday that the man who was shot and killed by Secret Service agents after he breached the secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun was fixated on the files tied to Jeffrey Epstein and believed there was a government cover-up protecting his accomplices.
The report is based on text messages from February 15 and from sources who worked with the man identified as 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin at a North Carolina golf course. TMZ also reported that Martin regularly expressed support for President Donald Trump; he apparently wasnt as much of a MAGA fan anymore, considering he was prepared to attack the presidents estate.
I dont know if you read up on the Epstein Files, but evil is real and unmistakable. Martin said in the recent text messages. The best people like you and I can do is use what little influence we have. Tell other people about what you hear about the Epstein files and what the government is doing about it. Raise awareness.

(6,835 posts) At the same time, Austin was outspoken about his Christian faith and political views. We're told he regularly expressed support for Trump, telling colleagues as recently as late last year he believed Trump was a strong leader

(42,889 posts)Epstein files. From way, way back the MAGAts were so damned sure this was Democrats. They played excerpts of Bannon and their other rw media characters and I walked away from it with a new understanding of how committed they were to this theory of Democrats being sexual predators.
This "history" included the pizza stuff--remember that?
Also interesting was how they did a word analysis and "pizza" and one other food-related word was obviously a code term for some type of aberrant behavior. These emails were taken from the latest round of documents.
Yep, they sure were right about this being a huge, monolithic network of predators. Only problem for them is that most of them are republicans. When you hear about it in depth, it's understandable how some of their more mentally fragile followers would do something like this. I mean what is this, about the fifth assassination attempt since he got into politics? Maybe it's not such a good idea to promote violence.

We need to focus on core issues. It's understandable to think that you can just clean out the assholes and pervs among the "elite," and everything's good. It's a pipe dream. Meanwhile, action on issues important to everyone in their day-to-day life is ignored. That is not a coincidence. It's a pattern.

I'm only surprised it's taking this long and we haven't seen a line of voters with buyer's remorse wanting "change". As some finally realize what he actually is, they, will be very angry for feeling conned. They don't seem to have the ability of thinking through the results of their actions, which makes them a danger to society, more specifically, to this administration.
Just my opinion based on observation.

(38 posts)I listen to C-Span Washington Journal in the morning. Every time, and I mean EVERY TIME, the host introduces a caller from North Carolina, he or she is completely and hopelessly indoctrinated in the MAGAt cult. I find it hard to believe that the Mar a Lago shooter was a MAGAt defector. There's more to this twisted tale than is being told.

Don't know why NC has so many citizens wrapped up in religion though.
