No. It is called the "Bay Area " meaning San Francisco and it's environs, OR it is called the city of San Franciso. Or the San Francisco Bay area.

There is no such city, this Tampa Bay to which you refer.

Sorry to be grammar nazi weird, but I grew up there. You have Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa and it's environs, or it's suburbs, OR the Tampa Bay Area. I grew up in TnC aka Town n Country.
I will leave it there...I'm on my 2nd glass of wine and I could rant!
