I just heard that when she was running for Attorney General of Florida one of her main advertisements for herself is "I'm going to put away all the pedophiles" And now look how she is protecting them.

It is really stomach churning.

3. I just wonder why Trump decided to

poke this hornet's nest in the first place. Did he not think that it could come back to haunt him? Why did he make such a big show of demanding the release of the documents when he would try every way he could to keep them from being released? Trump's crazy, but not stupid. He must have thought it would never get this far.

6. I agree with all of that except for the stupid part.

He's got a kind of intelligence about him, but his interests seem to be pretty narrow, so he's sort of like an idiot savant. But I think he was careless about this issue. I think he thought it would all get swept under the rug like the Mueller Report got squashed in his first term. He probably also underestimated how much people care about this issue. So while I think he's definitely suffering from mental decline, I just don't think it's stupidity.

He assumed Democrats would do anything to protect one of their own because they would have been blackmailed, kompromat, etc like the rethuglicans.

He never thought anyone would put doing the right thing over party loyalty...be use he wouldn't and everything he has ever seen showed that McTurtle , Graham, maga Mikey, etc will always put party loyalty over doing the right thing.

Or maybe she'll end up dead. That would look about as bad for him as a pardon. I think it's fitting that he is being brought low by one of his own phony promises. Now he's about to stick his hand in his bag of distractions.
