So, Alex Acosta knew that Epstein and the Island were part of intelligence, but did he

bother to ask what country had set it up? Did he just assume they meant the CIA? And if so, did anyone follow-up with the CIA?

And, no one seemed to follow-up with the question, "Who told you to leave Epstein alone because he was part of intelligence?""

Why was there no follow-up? It's time to bring Alex Acosta back to answer that one question.

Seriously, who had the power to influence this cover-up, starting in 2007? What was Trump's reach into government power back then?

I was told Epstein belonged to Intelligence And to Leave it Alone.

“Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?” Acosta had been asked. Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had “been told” to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta. (The Labor Department had no comment when asked about this.)
