I was just laid off by The Washington Post in the middle of a warzone. I have no words. I'm devastated.

Unbelievable

His destruction of WaPo -- the self-inflicted drop in subscribers, starting with blocking WaPo's presidential endorsement, and following up with instance after instance of kowtowing to the felon -- has all been to protect Amazon's stock price and his equity state.

Some way, somehow, we must expand the boycott of Amazon until it is big enough to do far more damage to him than Trump ever could have. It is tough. I've been working on my step-father to cancel his subscription and buy direct from merchants. He is still too addicted to the convenience and likes Prime Video. Arrrggghhh. Makes me crazy. While some people are losing their lives to the regime propped up by the likes of Bezos and other corporate bootlickers, others can't bring themselves to sacrifice a little convenience.

... Are there any hospital wings honoring Bezos' generosity? Are there any charities that bear his name? Has he ever done anything good for people in need? Has he made contributions to areas devastated by natural disasters? I would think we'd hear something about it if he had, but... crickets.
It would appear that he's just an insufferably rotten, pathologically selfish prick. I would like to be wrong about this, but I don't think I am. One can't be a Trump supporter and a good person. They are mutually exclusive concepts.

So, Bezos could absorb those losses on on week of wealth for longer than 5 years.

You can just make up whatever news you want with an LLM!
No more inconvenient stories from Eurasia, no more bad publicity about your movie that nobody can stand to watch, no more backtalk!

You can just sit behind your big desk, and dictate the stories you want the plebes to believe!

When I started delivering, a subscription cost $1.75 per month, delivered to the door. That went up to $1.95 as some point, which was great for me, because some of my more generous customers would give ne a 5 cent tip. Today, the WP isn't worth $1.75 a month, and certainly not $1.95, except maybe for the comic strips. The comic strips were great in those days.
