watch because I figured they would do a radical right wing hit job on him considering it was CBS. Guess I have become cynical regarding CBS.

the first step of the right-wing in co-opting people on the left, usually elderly or passed away, is some kind of memorial. Like with Mandela, MLK, etc.

I hadn't realized Keifer Sutherland was in Stand By Me as well as A Few Good Men. I was a bit surprised Will Wheaton wasn't there for Stand By Me as well. But it was a very touching special that I was glad I watched.

And I’m loving the Kennedy center show was dwarfed by 4x of the viewers for the Reiner special.
