It is also clear "beyond a reasonable doubt" that is precisely why "I Lean" Cannon has sat on the Jack Smith report and done everything possible to keep that report and evidence from being seen. Also clear is why the GQP doesn't want Jack to testify publicly. I believe they will try to order everything destroyed much like the courts ordered in the Scott Walker case in Wisconsin. Basically the court was saying, regarding Wisconsin/Walker, all of the collusion was actually free speech protected by the 1st Amendment and so releasing that material after the case was thrown out would be improper to the rights of the people investigated.

So the bottom line was the court saying "Free and brave enough to speak the words but too cowardly for voters to hear the words." So years of investigative work and clear proof of collusion, illegal coordination, misuse of taxpayer provided resources etc. all went down the drain.

Except in unusual cases (if you're REALLY speeding vs just kinda doing so)speeding tickets are more considered a misdemeanor than a crime. Grant didn't show up to challenge his ticket (much like most people who get them nowadays and don't challenge them - but aren't labeled as felons).

In a tangent because it's one I'm familiar with as a lover of local history....in the early 20th century one of the Mayors of Los Angeles ("Pinkie" Snyder) was also cited for speaking and commended the officers for doing their duty. He's not generally thought of as a felon either.

While there were no cars back then, they still had the concept of “you don’t drive a horse (let alone horse and carriage) full speed through a crowded thoroughfare during the day”.

Twice he was ticketed (I want to say the cop was black) for speeding, though the officer was apologetic about it. Not only did Grant pay the fines, he specifically checked afterwards to make sure the officer wasn’t punished for giving him a ticket.

Now some may say that this doesn’t really matter. It could be argued that there is a difference between a speeding ticket and a felony. Perhaps. I personally think you can extrapolate larger policies from smaller ones. If a president can be charged with a minor infraction, why should he be immune from ones that are 100 times more serious?

jurisdiction and withheld it but that was challenged legally and the 11th Circuit has given her a deadline to respond to the challenge and request for the report to be released. It is possible for the 11th Circuit to remove her if she continues to stonewall taking action. She may order it withheld, destroyed etc. which can also be appealed.
