and that means NOWHERE is safe from wildfires/grassfires after extended dry/draught conditions in winds like we are seeing now. Yes, the conspiracy theorists are having a go at it, but Xcel Energy made a wise decision this time around to avoid their transformers and lines triggering fires as has happened in the past. No matter the inconvenience. And i don't have a large generator--only a couple of Jackery Power Stations (love them) which I charged up yesterday before the winds got too bad. But, they will help as long as it doesn't get too cold and the pilot light goes out on my gas heater (yet another reason that I am very concerned about the drive to move to electrical only heat pumps)...
