(707 posts)Boy, did I get that wrong. Since he was assassinated, I have been continuously disappointed in Democratic and especially Republican presidents. And it gets worse and worse. Martin Luther King may have said "the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice".
But in my lifetime it could be said that regarding U.S. Republican presidents, "the arc of presidential history bends toward pure evil and incompetence".
