(8,650 posts)statement 'mistakes', unwise comments, aggressive style, Trump being Trump, lack of empathy, need for dominance, etc..
But what is beginning to dawn on some is WHY he is the way he is, and that's when words such as 'disordered', sociopathic, malignant narcissist, mentally ill, limited, damaged, weird, and incompetent start to appear widely (though on DU those words have been used for a decade). Need more of that, not because there should be another meme, but because it's an apt observation and once the realization spreads that potus is a historically and deeply damaged and dangerous person the country and world can begin to defend itself appropriately.
This is beyond politics. It is existential and accurate words need to be used.

(3,714 posts)Malignant narcissists are never satisfied. Expansion is part of their disorder. Once he's done with one battle, he will start the next. Venezuela, US, Greenland, Canada, Mexico, Panama, watch out.
Hopefully, Trump will fall apart long before any of that happens. Though it isn't looking good for Venezuela.

(19,902 posts)😊 I live an hour from the Canadian border, so we pretty much share the same weather with southern Ontario.
Sounds like you're in a more southern latitude.

(19,902 posts)He's a teaching dermatologist and has students examine patients first, then he comes in to do an examination himself.
The young woman internist said she was from Kingston, Ontario, which I've visited many, many times. We chatted about Kingston forca minute or two, then I apologized profusely for the "Great Mistake" currently in the White House and told her the vast majority of Americans love Canadians. She was very understanding and said, " We have the same people in Canada, but without so many guns."
Anyway, no melanomas, and hopefully a better understanding with at least one nice Canadian young lady. 🇨🇦
