If Texas measles outbreak is still spreading, U.S. could lose measles-free status

The United States is poised to lose its measles-free status next year. If that happens, the country will enter an era in which outbreaks are common again.

More children would be hospitalized because of this preventable disease. Some would lose their hearing. Some would die. Measles is also expensive. A new study — not yet published in a scientific journal — estimates that the public health response to outbreaks with only a couple of cases costs about $244,000.

Is Abbott too busy with gerrymandering to care about an epidemic?

Are Texas state health officials not allowed to speak to the press?

They’ve already lost their measles-free status.

Is this real or are we just not being told the true numbers, sort of like Florida’s covid stats in 2020? Texas says they haven’t had any new cases since August.

it is obvious that the U.S. is not a measles-free country. We can no longer believe in the accuracy of anything put out by the CDC. In fact, that applies to most every federal government agency contaminated by the planting of Trump Whores in positions of power and influence. The awful truth is that this calamity is self-inflicted and it is up to We, the People to remedy it in the coming election cycles.
