Oh, and The Bulwark has a clip about this as well (if you can stomach the verbal diarrhea from TSF)

(2,800 posts)As a musician, there have been many gigs when the musicians (albeit ensembles of 25 or more) outnumbered the paying customers. We never claimed those were big successes.

(9,997 posts)Those pictures certainly look like far less than that but was probably more than 200. The place actually holds 1200 when it is completely opened up, which it didn't appear to be.
One quibble with the article - they called the location a "blue collar community". Mount Pocono is decidedly NOT a blue collar community. It is largely a bedroom community for people who work in New York and Northern New Jersey. Monroe County is the 9th richest county in all of Pennsylvania

(4,513 posts)What the hell does that mean. He travels around the country on taxpayers' dime doing his empty head flossing dance looking aggressively stupid??
Who is he supposedly campaigning for? Besides his ego.

(520 posts)I pray he goes to every CD in the country to campaign. And Democrats have the good sense to field candidates for every CD and Senate seat and state legislatures. Now. No time to wait.

(1,406 posts)As a competitive artistic dance and figures roller skater, I spent a glorious skate camp week at the Big Wheel Rollerskating Rink in the Poconos preparing for Regionals. We all stayed in the dorms at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, got up bright and early, scurried to the rink to practice and learn new skating tips and tricks from world champions. Then practice, practice, practice sometimes for 11 hours a day. Fabulous memories.
Sickens me to think how he taints even the best places, the best memories. Even the song YMCA was a favorite fun skate tune.
Please make him go away.
