White House "SENSES" that SCREAMING "F*CK YOU" to working class America 24/7 isn't helping Trump's "ratings."

The Post is reporting, “Trump’s plight is a striking turnabout. In last year’s campaign, Trump scored political points by highlighting Americans’ inflation concerns, and President Joe Biden faced the almost impossible task of convincing voters they were not as bad off as they thought.”

Now the president finds himself in the same boat with no indication that he is willing to change course and, as the Post is reporting, White House aides “appears to sense political danger.”

According to Brent Buchanan, CEO of Cygnal, a Republican polling firm, the difference between how Trump sees the reality on the ground and those who have failed to convince him of the dangers has resulted in a muddled message to disenchanted voters.

“The biggest piece is message discipline and acknowledging how people feel — not telling them that things are affordable and you shouldn’t be complaining,” he explained. “If your message is Venezuela one day, Ukraine the next, telling them things are affordable, telling them Democrats made up affordability … voters then become concerned that you are not worried about what they are worried about.”

Eventually, and usually with disgusting speed, Trump will do something or say something to offend America. The news media will eagerly scamper to collect his droppings and share them with their audience. Meanwhile, no one's paying attention. People like Mitch McConnell slip legislation into the "REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT" bill that kills off the entire hemp industry a year from now, unless they find a way to effectively fight back. And we talk about Trump calling a reporter "piggy," because he knows how to create diversions.

5. I hate that they don't differentiate between Biden and Trump's messaging

For Biden(Harris) and Hillary Clinton, there was an acknowledgement that many people were still not in a good economic place. Trump does not concede that.

The Democrats' awareness made it harder to take and receive credit for having had a lot of success managing the economy. Biden, in particular, actually was the first President in decades who in a very small way reduced the trend of greater income inequality.

Trump has actually made things worse. It will be interesting seeing polling going forward where inflation questions are asked both on perception of the economy as a whole and the person's personal situation.

Interesting phrasing considering current events. Probably waving off a second strike.

Anyway, in a nutshell. There’s an example out today of why Trump is and always will be an unpopular asshole. A perfect example. He desires to be admirable and even loved by all. So, he makes his birthday a free day at the national parks. Fine! Might win him some passing praise.

But, then, the asshole emerges. He can’t help himself from stripping the free days from Juneteenth and MLK jr days. Doubling down on exactly why he’s not popular with the majority of Americans. He goes out of his way to be a craven dick. This is more than merely malignant narcissistic behavior. It’s something different and far worse.
