Just imagine being Karolying Leavitt:

Sure, we all say something once in a while we know isn't true. For most of us it is just to be nice and not hurt someone's feelings; or to avoid a more serious conversation about why--no--we really aren't doing well today but nobody really wants to hear about it so we lie and say, "great!"

There are also the societal lies we are fully expected to tell: Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, etc.... Many of us struggle with those because we do not want to deceive our young children, but we also do not want to take away the "magic" of youth or spoil it for our friend's kids.

But even for a completely fake "Christian" like Leavitt, it must be humiliating on some personal level at least to say things in public like, "President Trump’s relentless work ethic, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in sharp contrast to what we saw during the past four years when the failing legacy media intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people."

Let's put aside the contrast of Joe Biden riding bikes and other physical activities that Spray Tan Satan could not ever do. The fact is that Karolying is in the room; she sees it; she knows....

We can all see it from the outside: the man is not well--and the evidence mounts with each passing day.

Take his right hand for example: it's getting worse; not better--and the aspirin and handshaking excuse is laughable on its face. It's gone from an embarrassing bruise to something that can't even be covered with makeup anymore--the latest photos showing thick bandages covering the back of his noticeably--even alarmingly--swollen hand which now looks like it has been beaten from whatever is going on there. Karolying knows but refuses to tell us.

Take also the falling asleep during even short events: the White House expects us to believe the same joke we laugh at our own elders for: he was just resting his eyes. Yeah, right.... We can all see he is nodding off--even fully asleep at some points. At the end of the last 3-hour Cabinet butt-kissing session he went into a full-on racist diatribe against Somali-Americans like some grumpy grandpa who's pissed that someone disturbed his nap and just has to tell you all the vile crap that is on his mind. For someone so image-conscious he--and everyone around him--knows this is not a good look by any measure, but for some reason we keep seeing it. That says a lot about the fear he instills in everyone behind the scenes. And Karolying is in the middle of it all.

And then there are the things that come out of his weirdly anus-shaped mouth: much of it is completely vile; most of the rest is ridiculous lies. I get that spokes-Karen cares not one wit about the awful things he says about women, immigrants, and anyone else he doesn't like--she is certainly as mysogynistic, racist, and awful as the rest of the fake "Christians" in MAGAverse--but does she really believe things like the claim that tariffs are bringing in "trillions" of dollars--so much so that you could eliminate the income tax in the U.S.; that drug prices are going to come down, "by 200%, 300%, 400%, 500%, 600%, 700%, 800%"--a mathematical impossibility; that he has "ended eight wars"--many of which never existed in the first place; that the Administration, "inherited the worst inflation in history"--an easily debunked claim; that since, "last January, we’ve stopped inflation in its tracks"--another easily debunked claim; that the Amish, "have no autism"; that any big strong person in the history of forever has come up to him with tears in their eyes and told him how much he changed their lives? And this could go on all day.....

The lies just seem to roll out of his mouth hole as easily as the word acetaminophen does for cognitively normal people.

And sure, Karolying Leavitt is destined for a cushy job on Fux News one day waxing ineloquent about whatever the conspiracy du jour is, but that cross around her neck still has to burn every day when she puts it on and looks at herself in the mirror and gives herself that little pep talk in order to believe the unbelievable and defend the indefensible with a big smile on her face.

But her role as a central figure in destroying our democracy and our country is undeniable, and that is something her son "Niko" will have to live with for the rest of his life--because the choices we make now ripple through our history.

May the Pope visit her and provide extraordinary counsel.

St. Augustine argued that “whoever shall think there is any sort of lie that is not sin, will deceive himself (herself) foully, while he deems himself (herself) honest as a deceiver of other men.”

No, thank you. It gives me a headache just trying to think down to that level.

that Leavitt has even a gram of integrity, honesty, ethics, or morals. She has none. That cross doesn't burn her and she doesn't have to give herself a pep talk. She's not humiliated. She (like everyone else in this administration) is not normal - they all have psychopathic personalities/tendencies. She does not have a single problem with her behavior, does not consider lying to be a problem, does not consider Trump or any other member of this administration's behavior to be negative or problematic in any way. She sleeps like a baby every night because she has no conscience to be clear or not. And her son, who is being raised to be the exact same way, won't have a problem "living with" any of this because he won't care either!
