Succinct post on Trump's tariff policy and one big result of it.

"No one's going to build a factory based on a tariff that's on on Monday, off on... Tuesday, the president's changed his mind by Wednesday, he gets hormonal by Thursday and someone says something nasty in the middle school cafeteria on Friday and they're back on again."

Two points:

1. SCOTUS is dragging its heels on ruling about the legality of Traitor’s “emergency power” to impose tariffs. I’m guessing they’re desperately trying to figure out a way to fabricate a rationale in order to stabilize his insane TACO gyrations so corps WILL contemplate building manufacturing facilities here.

2. Even IF SCOTUS manages to contort the law to give Traitor this power, after the Hyundai plant raid, why would any corporation trust that their workers are safe?

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

When has he ever lied to us? I can’t wait until these tariffs result in ending my income taxes.
