Now, I'm wondering if Yellowstone won't do us all a "favor," and that Supervolcano take out the majority of all of us west of the Mississippi (directly) and far more from the sulfurous effects, direct and indirect. I mean it has only been 2.08 million years since it last erupted, so, who knows? 
As with the nuke attack, it would likely be fast for most of us.
