Months ago DUers made it pellucidly clear

That when the cost of all things Christmas hit home the shit will hit the fan.

The cost of the fake trees and Christmas lights will brighten up the coming anger. 😠 Remember now MAGA Christmas has nothing to do with anything but their prosperity gospel , white nationalism, eating, drinking and shopping.

have been encouraging people to get any Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. We want to
see MSM reporting on how bad the economy must be because of a terrible black Friday.

For some of us... that is pretty funny. Especially when our existence is certainly proof enough of how bad the economy is. Why wait for Black Friday?

Like I said, I hope you are correct.

We’re immune to the guilt tripping ads. For years we drew names and you gave one present ($25 max) to one person. About 15 years ago we quit that, too. No one needs more crap. Hand knitted or crocheted items are okay. Instead we collect money (sliding scale)l bundle it, and donate to a progressive nonprofit.

they must be expecting less consumer demand for shopping this holiday season. Might see less air travel too because of residual issues from the ATC shortage.

I cursed that nine foot tall monster for years insisting it would give me tetanus- (which it probably will still do).

But reading this article and comments, I guess a tetanus booster is a reasonable
alternative to replacing the 🌲 🌲 🌲
tree.
