I had a MAGA person in the comments tell me the tariffs are working and they were never meant to be permanent. I told her that I agree that tariffs aren’t meant to be permanent but that Trump has been saying how wonderful they’ve been for us over the 6 months they have been in place and that unless I’ve missed something there is no coffee or tropical fruit industry thats thriving here in America so this is an obvious admission that they were the cause of prices rising. She never responded. They are coping
