MAGA should look at the people they support, like the Young Republicans who revealed their hatred of minorities and LGBTQ+, and the desire to take away women’s right to vote. Red states have already taken away their access to life-saving reproductive healthcare.

And look at their idols. Right-wingers like Charlie and Erika Kirk who preached at women’s role was in the home making babies. With Charlie dead, Nick Fuentes seems to be gaining more followers. MAGA and Republicans are against helping people in need and want to get rid of Medicaid, SNAP, and any program that provides aid to poor people.

The question should be why young white men aren’t as smart as young women and continue voting for Republicans who do absolutely nothing for them except making them misfits in life in a decent society.

Women (and other people) who sacrifice themselves in service to everyone else's opinions of who they should be can be used, abused, and ultimately tossed into the dustbin of other peoples' lives. Meanwhile, those same women become invisible to themselves and society. Comments like "I lost myself" or "I don't have to have an opinion" reflect a loss of confidence born of selflessness. How's that for irony? We women in the boomer generation dumbed ourselves down to appeal to and not offend, intimidate or threaten male egos. Look, pointing fingers is an exercise in futility.

The issues are sociological, behavioral and economic exacerbated by technology, so it's complicated. As women stand up and step up today, the push back is inevitable; nothing new! The only way out is through, and there is a lot of work to do...

24. My 96 yr old very liberal mom has been voting D since she became eligible to vote. As have both her daughters.

She was still working to GOTV in Florida when Covid hit and shut down most of her work. Last election she didn’t do as much, given her age.

My dad was also a staunch liberal.
