Fact: It's estimated that more than 65% of the things that one reads on the internet are disinformation. That is the deliberate spreading of misinformation. But if you don't verify it first, then you're only guilty of spreading misinformation. It's the person who knows better but spreads it anyway who is a true and nefarious propagandist.

And on April 17, 2025, the image was featured on a news report uploaded by a Taiwanese media company on Instagram.

So probably some Chinese influence there.

WASHINGTON (AP) — China has agreed to purchase 25 million metric tons of U.S. soybeans annually as part of an agreement reached by its leaders, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Thursday.

Bessent said China will start by purchasing 12 million metric tons of soybeans from the U.S. between now and January.
