Jane testified that she took part in the Miss Teen USA pageant in 1998, NBC News reported at the time. However, it was not clear if that was before or after she said she visited Mar-a-Lago.

Trump owned the pageant from 1996 until 2015, and four women who competed in the pageant in 1997 told BuzzFeed in 2016 that Trump had walked into their dressing room while they were changing.

During her testimony, Jane said she was sexually abused by Epstein after meeting at a summer arts camp in Michigan in 1994. She said that Maxwell—who is serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls—would sometimes be in the room when she was abused.

And the article is clearly poorly sourced. It says "The woman, identified by the pseudonym "Jane," testified that she met Trump at his Mar-a-Lago Club when Epstein took her there in the 1990s when she was 14."

Then it says "Jane testified that she took part in the Miss Teen USA pageant in 1998, NBC News reported at the time. However, it was not clear if that was before or after she said she visited Mar-a-Lago."

So she knows she was 14 at the time she met Trump, but the writer of the article doesn't know if that was before or after she took part in the pageant in 1998? Really?

Elsewhere it was stated that she was 14 when she met Epstein & Maxwell which was 1994. So clearly she was about 18 when she took part in the pageant.

If you're looking for more evidence against Trump, this article provided none. It explicitly said this person did not accuse Trump of any wrongdoing and she clearly entered the pageant long after she was abused by Epstein - so Trump had nothing to do with this particular person's abuse by Epstein.

12. The media has gotten really, really click-baity when it comes to Epstein stories

I thought the same thing. If she was abused in 1994 but in the Teen USA pageant in 1998, that's not the order of events that would imply guilt by Trump.

"Jane" would also be the only known Epstein victim associated with Trump's pageant in any way.

People should also remember that at this point over $400M has been distributed or is earmarked for distribution to the victims. There is SOME chance, therefore, that some people might make up stories to get in on the gravy train. I'm not saying the known victims are liars, particularly not the ones who've been around the case for a decade or more. But as time passes, and the kitty grows, it is not just possible but probably likely there will be a faker or two who comes up from the woodwork. Just a function of human nature and statistics.

Also of the 4 that reportedly claimed Trump walked into the Teen USA dressing room (which is not what Trump admitted to doing), at least 2 of the 4 wouldn't put their name on the claim. And there are also a number of participants who said outright there's no way that happened because that would have been a huge deal among a group of teenagers, and everyone would've known about it through gossip. But these girls never heard of it happening, and suspected that the others are misremembering because many girls started at Teen then went to regular Miss USA when they turned 18, and these claims were made many years after the fact. I'm not making a claim either way myself obviously I was not there, but its not as cut-and-dry as its presented here. There's Snopes article about it that's worth a read and easy to google for.

The post was about how there were investigations into Epstein's sex trafficking as a tool for money laundering.

I made the comment that one thing that Krasnov is good at is money laundering. I then asked the question if Krasnov's Miss Teen USA pageants ever funneled little girls to Epstein?

Epstein and Krasnov were best friends for at least 15 years, and IMO, if Epstein was money laundering, Krasnov was involved in the operations.

Back in the mist, when some of us were earning our "Me Too" cred, the unspoken game-plan gave us a self-identifying entitlement to persist with our advances provided our date put up some token resistance defending her "Good Girl" status, with the understanding that ultimately we would be rewarded. This was understood in the locker-room culture prevalent during that time. Un-learning this attitude has been fraught.
It appears this has become the rubric in the relationship between the Executive and Judiciary.

So she was abused by Epstein long before she was in the Miss Teen USA pageant. She didn't "go from Trump's beauty pageant" to Epstein. She went from being abused by Epstein to later appearing in a beauty pageant.

She also never accused Trump of any wrongdoing.
