Bonus daughter had an assignment to write down her thoughts and feelings about Heman Sweatt and not being accepted at UT Law School.
After a lot of discussion and me pulling thoughts out of her we were able to complete her class assignment.
I will say it was very enlightening and we had a good conversation.
We ended the conversation with her calling me her bestie.
Tears of joy.
