Of course, he's doing it in a reckless manner, but here are my thoughts: We always assumed that the top dogs (kingpins) in the cartel business never get touched. It's always the lower and middle levels that get arrested. And the assumption was that they might even be Americans.
But, since Trump is going headstrong chasing a gale storm of drug cartel stereotypes, blowing up boats out of the water and calling the Columbian president a cartel drug lord, can we assume that the kingpins are not part of the 1% in the US?
