I have seen the movie Tombstone over 50 times.

Val as Doc Holiday was perfection !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many movies I love. Real Genius, The Doors, Top Gun, Tombstone, Deja Vu, Batman Forever--he was a versatile actor and he will be missed. Thanks for the post.

And so he did. I was told he was sort of ashamed of Real Genius, but I found it hilarious and really well-made despite the somewhat primitive humor behind it. He made it work. I thought that if he could do that, he could do most any kind of role, and so he did.

Yeah, the ending is silly, but there are good characters & some snappy writing.
I was not aware he didn't care for the movie. He shouldn't have been ashamed of it.

And he didn't feel Chris Knight was it. Still, he played the role so well, that it didn't matter. He got the recognition he deserved, and went on to get some roles with more depth in very short order.
