(1,512 posts)There are so many movies I love. Real Genius, The Doors, Top Gun, Tombstone, Deja Vu, Batman Forever--he was a versatile actor and he will be missed. Thanks for the post.

(59,685 posts)And so he did. I was told he was sort of ashamed of Real Genius, but I found it hilarious and really well-made despite the somewhat primitive humor behind it. He made it work. I thought that if he could do that, he could do most any kind of role, and so he did.

I was not aware he didn't care for the movie. He shouldn't have been ashamed of it.

(59,685 posts)And he didn't feel Chris Knight was it. Still, he played the role so well, that it didn't matter. He got the recognition he deserved, and went on to get some roles with more depth in very short order.
