Are laws even operative anymore?

That's a serious, non-hyperbolic question. We have a Congress that refuses to hold Trump accountable, and a Supreme Court who has declared him immune from prosecution for anything he does under the guise of official acts.

So I ask again: Are laws even operative at this point?

When you let orange psycho get away with all of his numerous crimes, including murdering millions of Americans there was obviously no law anymore or at least no law that can be applied to the worst criminals. who are now in charge.

Laws are very much operative for ordinary people.

They're only obsolete for these with enough privilege.
