I really don’t care one way or another about the person Mark Cuban.
Or the personality he pushes

I HATE THAT CABLE SHOW REGARDING PEOPLE LOOKING FOR FUNDING FROM THE RICH.
Cuban was in that show, or maybe he still is…..don’t know and don’t care to know.
I do not watch.

BUT why in the hell do I keep seeing Mark Cuban BlueSky posts?
Appears that BlueSky locks (pins) in a Mark Cuban post at Discover

I want NOTHING to do with ever seeing posts on what BILLIONAIRES think.

Wish Cuban would fade away and leave BlueSky.

1. I disagree. Mark Cuban worked hard to get Kamala Harris elected.

He paid over $200 million in taxes last year.

I don’t agree with all of his posts on BlueSky but he is miles away from people like Musk, who he has called out.

3. I'm not an expert on Cuban, but he is a progressive and his program to sell low cost pharmaceuticals

is something that I would brag on him for. I know those who have used it and desperately so. They've saved a lot.
He's no Trump fan and while I dislike all of those kinds of "reality" shows, it is his real-life activities I am more interested in. Most seem to agree that he's a good guy.

Also, 'Discover' is BlueSky's controlled feed. Just about everything else is something you signed up for, or something based on your preferences, like 'following'. So stay off Discover if you find it annoying, or just mute or block what you find offensive. It is in your control to experience the platform as you wish, which, for now, is why I like it. It could enshittify, and then I'll be gone.

11. He's a real bootstraps rich guy.

From humble means. Did it on his own without the silver spoon. Plus, he lives a humble life in a "normal" house without a serving staff. Adores his wife and family and isn't leaving his vast wealth to his kids. Plus, he won't bend the knee to he who will not be named.

That says a lot about his character other than supporting Democratic ideas.

Started, or maybe he co-founded that company, that was small,

But lucked out, during the TECH BOOM his tiny tiny tiny company got bought out
Bought out with SHARES by YAHOO!

THE original streaming company morphed into some other name for company
IPO happened , YAHOO! bought it, and CUBAN sold out a few months later

This was all before the year 2000

A LOT of worthless tech companies with tiny SALES got lucky back then,
Buying frenzy took place back then DOTCOM BOOM, using SHARES that cost nothing, to acquire companies that had sales that DOLLARS alone would NOT purchase

I know of another 2 people, in Silicon Valley that got bought out for SHARES instead of money,
They were “paid” for acquisition of their company 1,000s and 1,000s of shares of the acquiring corporation,,,, THEY GOT ABOUT $860 MILLION in shares.

Their company had MAYBE $15 million in SALES, that’s it!
Yet they lucked out like Cuban did.

I don’t want to belittle any support Cuban gave to Harris and progressive causes.

It’s WONDERFUL the drug prescriptions program that CUBAN started.

But I don’t equate a BILLIONAIRE who fails to then financially support
the DEM candidate for US President “as putting his money where his mouth is.”
