Who can overturn an executive order?

Congress has the power to overturn an executive order by passing legislation that invalidates it, and can also refuse to provide funding necessary to carry out certain policy measures contained with the order or legitimize policy mechanisms.

The complex role of the Supreme Court in this system derives from its authority to invalidate legislation or executive actions which, in the Court's considered judgment, conflict with the Constitution.

So the GOP controlled Congress and supreme court.are.our.only hope to stop this madness?

We are so screwed as a country and planet. And even if trump should fall off a balcony, Vance would do the same thing with the same people.

1) Some of his executive orders already clearly vioilate the law.

2) The courts are glacially slow. He can effectively acheive his goals in many cases even if he loses the court cases.

When you have someone determined to be a dictator, normal processes to hold them in check will not work. He is a dictator. Short of unified defiance, we're pretty much fucked.

And they control the judges, so yeah we are screwed.

Maybe blue states like ny can enact their own counter measures.
