All Blue States should immediately move to secede and join together to form a new American Union. Trump's government is in violation of the Constitution and is illegal. His Presidency is therefore null and void. Once Trump and his MAGA Criminals are defeated we can put the whole country back together again. But now we need to fight.

7. A New American Union

Allied with Canada or integrated with them. Canada has ten Provinces so each one could be a State in a new Union. Or simply an Alliance with Canada. We would have a large economic advantage over the Red States. California, New York, Michigan, Illinois are the centers of American civilization and economic power. A lot of the Red States are poorer. Agricultural resources would be important as well but states like California are big ag states. We could do it though. A new American Union.

I imagine an alliance between a new American Union and Canada would be easier to establish than the integration of the American system to the Parliamentary system that Canada has.

We would probably want to get rid of any hint of the electoral college for our own sakes. An alliance with Canada would probably be easier than integration with Canada. Maybe the Independant States of America.

4. We Could Negotiate A Passage

We could move Red MAGAS out of the Blue States and move Democrats out of Red States into Blue States. It could be negotiated and done without violence. It would be difficult but we could do it.

Plus, you're not taking into consideration that some people have jobs in those red states, they have roots there. How in the world would you manage the job problem? The families that would be split? People own property. Do they just walk away? Get pennies on the dollar just to get out?

14. It Would Be Difficult

I am not saying it would be easy but there could be a finance system to help Dems move from Red States to Blue States and MAGAs move from Blue to Red States as well. We might be able to have a national divorce that is difficult but not violent. We could negotiate with the Red Staters. They would be getting their own republics as well so it might be attractive to them as well. Secession is better than living in a Police State or having outright Civil War. It could work like Brexit.

to adopt Brexit. Don't forget Hawaii. It's a blue state. I want to move there. Help me sell my house in a red state and be able to get something equally nice in Hawaii. Or California. Or New York. You see the problem?

The Blue States could help to subsidize Democrats that need to move from Red areas to Blue areas. It would be tricky but it is a better option than conflict and possible warfare.

10. Reality

Reality is that we are on the verge of a complete Fascist takeover of the country. Extreme problems require radical solutions. There is already a movement in California to secede. Secession would be preferable to armed conflict and might actually prevent that.
