"High prices are the reason we voted for Trump! He's gonna bring prices down!"

Republicans after Jan 27th 2025:
"Look, we really shouldn't care about high prices. Me personally, I am more than happy to pay more for groceries if it means we're getting rid of illegal immigrants."
