The letter from the Chairperson of the Council of the Inspectors General is on X. The author, Hannibal Ware, says they do not believe Trump's order to fire them is legal, and they won't be leaving.

this morning. He was not at work. He said he was denied access.
He gets fired at 7:45 on Friday night, and is denied access to his workplace Monday morning. The firing is against the law, and is followed up by improper workplace practices. They're treating these civil servants like wrong doers.
So they have to go to court. I hope they do.
