Why in the hell would anyone , in their right mind, vote for this loser? It's a direct hit on your pocketbook.

70 some odd million people are apparently really f'ing stupid. And since they all think he's some type of God, one has to ask, why God would do this to us?
Answer: He's not a God, and never will be one. The narcissistic con man and his newly assigned clowns just keep on, keeping on.
The story just keeps on getting worse and worse for all of us. And he's not even in charge yet.
Unbelievable, isn't it? My question is, what will this country look like 6 months from now? The prediction on my mind is not a good one.

Forget Maggie Haberman. THIS book explains how the con happens due to certain elements being in place, particularly how the "Mark" is distracted and manipulated and doesn't know he's been conned until it's over.
Different venue, same game.

Those voters did not vote for the orange idiot, but the percent who will always vote their prejudices are enough to win a close election unless there is an overwhelming GOTV.
I don't see the proportion of biased voters growing smaller, but who knows?

(3,565 posts)During the campaign MSNBC would send their reporter to interview the rally-goers afterwards, and the bits that they aired were horrifying. Many referred to him as a god, and all believed every outrageous lie he spewed like a bunch of automatons. I can't forget one couple interviewed after that rally where he spent 40 minutes swaying to music and not saying a word. Each was asked what they thought about that. The woman said "Well, I would have liked him to speak more about his plans and have him answer more questions", but then hastily added "But I'll still vote for him." Her husband, with a weird trance-like smile, said something like "I didn't mind it at all. I could just watch him swaying to music for hours".
