This is me. Is this you, too?

It's spontaneous. I have no control over it. I see a flag or banner emblazoned with "TRUMP" and *whoop*! Up goes my finger.

Does this happen to you too?

I live in the country in a very small community. Sadly my road is filling up but still people with farms. The last house to go up was across the road from us with longhorn cattle. I have still not even met them but......the last remaining thing he put up with all the little thingies that are in the yard was an Amercan flag and a Trump flag. I almost cried on the way up to my house. When I got to my place where I am now I looked out and lo and behold there is a big cedar that covers the entire Trump flag even in a hard wind. Now I am just waiting to see what he ends up doing with it. I doubt he will be able to keep it up under President Musk.

When we were headed for Thanksgiving Day dinner at our older son's house last month, we saw a man waving a giant American flag next to the highway. I told my husband to calm down because what nitwit would spend his Thanksgiving all alone on the highway waving a flag. Sure enough, it was a Magat. Our younger son was in his car driving behind us. We had all been in good moods, and then this horrible man almost ruined our day.

at the cultish mindset. I live in a blue state but my home is in a rural red county. Any direction I drive I pass huge outlays of Trump crap. One place has 12 huge Trump flags stretched out on the fences. Several other places have made these enormous wooden American flags but bastardized it with Trump and Take our country back on the stripes. One place made a giant wooden “ Trump Won “sign and erected it right at a busy crossroads intersection. All of the other state and local political signs I typically see were removed shortly after election but these Trumpers leave everything up year round. It’s pretty pathetic.

Fortunately, we don’t generally have Trump flags or other offensive displays of Trump crap around here. So the finger stays put when I’m driving. The only exception was on election day when a pickup truck sporting four huge Trump flags in the bed and multiple Trump stickers drove into the shopping center that I was in. My jaw dropped.

Having said that, the middle finger gets quite a workout at home on the rare occasions when I still watch the news. It’s reflexive at this point.

Repeatedly, driving to and from St. Joseph MO. On the way back, I popped into a place just south of St. Joe called The Flea Market. Along with the usual discarded crap and detritus one expects in such a place, a whole corner is dedicated to Trump Trash: garish flags, in-your-face hostile bumper stickers, signs, etc. I noted all the security cameras and refrained from doing what I wanted to do. Flipped the Double Bird and left, mentioning to the owner that I would never buy anything from a place that carried that stuff.

And when it's a TR--P sign that's in the yard of an obviously impoverished person, I have to scream, "Stupid motherf*cker! How f*cking poor do you want to be?" It's mildly satisfying for now. Less satisfying will be watching the stupid mofos get even poorer under the coming administration. But if ever we required proof we have it now...you can't fix stupid!

and I know the houses in our neighborhood with T flags (about 6 amongst several hundred homes). I walk on the side of the street of the unflagged homes but i cut a huge arc to avoid any contact with the T flag property, as if it was highly poisonous and make a “I smell putrid rotting flesh” face.

It's an eyesore in many ways. I didn't spend four years with a Biden banner draped across my porch.
I'm not going to fly a Fuck Trump flag either, because I'm not in junior high school.
