Used to be we just considered ourselves Liberals for thinking that way. I suppose in this new reality we are the Radical Left. I find myself shaking my head way more than I used to.

I prefer equality of opportunity over equality of outcome, which I think defines the difference between left and radically left.
I see no value in conservatism at all, it sucks to suck.

20. I think that is a very good question and not one that can easily be answered.

I don't think equality of opportunities is the opposite of equality of outcomes (and vice-versa) both are related and can not be understood without considering the other term. From an academic and sociological standpoint that is a very deep and controversial subject.

I think any talking point from the left or right is meant to convey a message. And as far as that goes the terms left and radical left need to be defined before attributing them to anyone.

But you made me think and I thank you for that.

Are all labels. All are subjective and relative. So, take your pIck(s).

I'm more interested in the issues and decide where I stand on them.

"I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever, in religion, in politics, I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all." --Thomas Jefferson
