First Patrushev, who helped blow up apartment buildings in Russia to get Putin elected, said that Trump owes a debt and needs to repay while following up that he hoped Trump isnt killed.
And now Putin discusses that Trump needs to be careful not to get killed.
The Russians are sending a message

(17,012 posts)these statements were made, especially the one about him owing a debt that must be repaid. My thinking is that while Trump hits back when insulted by someone he perceives as lower than him, to be humiliated by someone with more power and prestige is something he could never bring himself to acknowledge. It is almost his worst nightmare. It is reminiscent of Mike Bloomberg's 2020 ads depicting Trump as incompetent to even run a golf course, ads that emphasized Trump's obesity. He never even could bring himself to comment on them. (Trump desperately aspired to be in the club that Mike Bloomberg was in, but was shunned and laughed out of it).
Russia would not, at this point at least, even think about harming Trump. But they are signaling to the international community who the boss is.
This is truly an extraordinary humiliation. Only, maybe, in private conversations with Putin would Trump ever mention it, and then in a joking way telling Putin to "lay off" or perhaps asking Putin what he is trying to accomplish.

(58,324 posts)Yesterday Putin was threatening Zelensky.
Putin said he was going to bomb Ukraine decision making centers.
Which is where Zelensky is located.
So in two days Putin is threatening to kill Trump and Zelensky.
Why? What is going on?

(1,113 posts)the DOJ or FBI or even NSA or CIA would want to investigate?
Sorry. Don't know what came over me. It's like someone threw away a perfectly good Garland.*
DIctionary Definition:
*Garland:
a wreath or festoon of flowers, leaves, or other material, worn for ornament or as an honor or hung on something as a decoration:
A garland of laurel was placed on the winner's head.

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I saw a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again, today.
He must be from the CIA.

(306 posts)Maybe they could be a bit more specific. Anyway, no president should be personally indebted to an adversary. Wheres the FBI, and the intelligence community on this? Where is TSFs comment/denial? Where is the Democratic response?

(628 posts)Always ask if the applicant has engaged with entities advocating overthrowing the government. And of course, the applicant must sign. I dont know what clearances the dotard signed for. But I know for sure if I did half of the shit the dotard did, sure as hell I wouldnt be allowed to apply for such jobs.
Guess this is going to catch up with the dotard and probably us!

(478 posts)It is going to be a real dilemma for Orange Julius Caesar. He could get really angry and tell Ukraine they can do whatever they want as retaliation for Russia's comments, or he could just roll over on his flabby back like a dog and surrender, looking really weak to the world in the process.
My bet is on the latter.
