Harris to supporters: 'Don't you ever let anybody take your power from you'

Video in link.

Vice President Harris attempted to share some optimism with her supporters while addressing her Election Day loss to President-elect Trump on Tuesday, advising them to hold on to their “power.”

“I just have to remind you: Don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before Nov. 5, and you have the same purpose that you did, and you have the same ability to engage and inspire,” Harris said in a video shared by the Democratic Party on the social platform X.

“So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you,” she added.

I don't know why I remember this - probably because it was so hilarious at the time.

But she was doing one of those "Remember Your Spirit" nonsense things, and she talked about how she liked to go to the pond on her "farm" and just chill quietly for awhile. Very earthy, rustic, minimalist.

Except her farm is actually a 150 acre estate with a 10,000 sq ft. residence.

And I was like, "Oh. my. god. Is Oprah done telling the peons how to find peace yet? Because if I had a billion dollars and several private estates, I'd be remembering my spirit daily."

Since then, I've always just kind of side-eyed the rich, powerful, and famous telling me how my life can be as incredible as theirs. Well, I don't see you cleaning this bathroom, Oprah! So maybe we're not feeling the same closeness with God today!
