"The Trump Vote Regret Factor " is coming of age!
People in Unions are seeing the Unions failing and are upset.
Along with a criminal cabinet of rapists and thieves. trump voters are already questioning their vote.
No wonder trump wants the military from day one to deport immigrants.
He needs to control the army to keep his power as people see the truth about this monstrous dictator and his side kicks Musk and Vance.

Wait til the cost of food and housing goes up due to tariffs!

I thought she had more character than to take a knee to trump and beg forgiveness.

With Mika’s fame and money what the hell is she afraid of?

She fawned all over Trump when he ran the first time and I mean even fussing with his hair. And, that photo in the OP? It's years old and was taken when she was married to the father of her children. She and Scarborough used to openly flirt on air while she was married.

And equate her with being a whore?

Sorry, I don't agree. Like I said, I support calling out Joe and Mika but there are ways to do that which aren't misogynistic.

the term "media-whore" isn't the same as an actual sex worker. Neither is the term "political-whore". Men fit those two terms, probably more often than women.

Using the term "whore" and that photo is misogynistic. They could have used any other picture of them but they chose that one to make the point and in doing so, they are using typical misogynistic tropes.

There were other ways of calling them "media whores" but they intentionally chose a provocative pic of Mika.

Nobody forced her to show off her legs.

Its a pose that says "Look at me". Its not a pose that says "I have intelligent commentary".

Is license to call her a whore?

This was intentionally designed to evoke a response and it's clearly misogynistic. We can't scream about misogyny costing us an election if we selectively support misogyny, sorry.

Seriously?

It's misogynistic, whether the picture was out there already or not. The pic was chosen specifically to drive home the "whore" message.

There are better ways of calling out their bullshit than using imagery like this

I didn't say anything about how she was dressed. In fact, I think she looks damn good. I wish I looked that good. She's an adult and knew exactly what she was doing, as did her at-the-time lover and co-host. Those two played up the sexual tension between them and it was open secret that everyone knew. They were selling that in that photo.

Using this photo and using the term "whore" or "Ho" is not a good look, that's my point. I'm not saying they shouldn't be called out for their absolute cowardice, I'm saying using this pic in that way is misogynistic.

https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/2012/10/joe-scarborough-mika-presidential-run

Five years ago this month, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski began co-hosting MSNBC’s savvy, caffeinated Morning Joe, their daily brew of news, chat, and political opinion. And even though they are both married, with children, their on-air chemistry can come across as charged, even flirtatious, the cable equivalent of Nick and Nora Charles. Recently, they’ve been flirting all over the map. First, Joe flirted with the idea of running against Barack Obama.

An ex–Florida congressman and a moderate Republican, he conferred with fellow centrists just before the primaries, occasionally shuttling around with his friend Mike Bloomberg. (From time to time, Mika’s father, Zbigniew, Jimmy Carter’s national-security adviser, weighed in with sage advice, as did a handful of George W. alumni.) Next, Joe and Mika flirted with CBS about taking over the network’s perennially laggard morning slot. (After protracted negotiations, CBS went with Charlie Rose, Gayle King—and Erica Hill, since departed as co-host.)

Now the pair are flirting with none other than Roger Ailes, the man whose Fox News they battle every morning. To be exact: they have started a film-and-TV production company and the first project they’re developing and peddling is a TV drama about the life and times of their volatile competitor. Philip Seymour Hoffman has been mentioned for the Ailes character; James Gandolfini’s name has come up to portray Ailes’s pal Governor Chris Christie.

And just to raise the temperature a tad? After the presidential inauguration in January, Joe (no fan of Mitt Romney’s—”I’ve been very critical”) plans on publishing a memoir that will serve—no joke—as a vehicle to test the waters for a presidential run in 2016. Take that, Mr. Romney.

So, yeah, notice how titillating the copy is using the word "hot".

to take MSNBC out of the crosshairs, which obviously the RW hates and wants to sue, censor etc. Maybe they think by personally appealing to Trump he'd call off the dogs, so to speak. Or maybe it's just what its seems, that Mika and Joe are selling out because Trump is going to be president again and they want access.

Since he came down that escalator in 2015, Trump has driven up ratings which = more income and Joe and Mika make HUGE money. It's a simple calculation.
