(22,902 posts)that absolutely nothing prevents a person from from running for or serving as president as a convicted felon or from prison. it stands to reason that there is no legal justification for tossing a conviction just because someone was elected president. i also don't see any way to interpret drumpf's crimes as "official acts". Since SCOTUS left that up to the judge's to decide, then if it were me, i would make SCOTUS do its own "dirty work". if they want to toss it, make them toss it.
delay the sentencing until after his term and make him think about that every day for the next four years.

Cohen is petrified and apparently has turned to cowardice. How disappointing.
I thought he was going to move out of the country. At least that’s what he said he would do if Trump won the election.

(285 posts)in a New York court by people who took the time to serve their state as jurors. Their decision cannot be ignored. Postpone the sentencing if they must but throwing out the conviction is a slap in the face to anyone who takes the time to sit on a jury.
