Please remember-recounts usually only find small handfuls of votes

When a race is very close, it's obviously helpful. But I think in this Presidential race, with the expense and the seperation of vote numbers in most states that we have now, recounts aren't really feasable IMO. I think we need to regroup and stand together for what's ahead. We have a rocky road, but we can and must survive.

The point is to verify that the physical votes and tabulated votes are the same. bullimiami 22 hrs ago #1
Many states do that now Abnredleg 22 hrs ago #3
Very true and there is a compelling mathematical reason for that dsc 22 hrs ago #2

In all honesty, it feels like we're rolling over and playing dead. There have certainly been questions raised Vinca 22 hrs ago #5

That’s not a recount. It’s an audit.

Imagine you have a pile of 2 million pennies to count and divide the labor to 1000 people each of whom count 2000 pennies. Now, there almost certainly will be some error involved in the process. Each person might well make an error of 1 percent, on average, but the total error is very unlikely to be even half of a percent. Why is that? Because the errors are equally likely to be in either direction and some of the errors will therefore cancel out each other. So even if each person had 1% error the total error may well be 0.25% or less. The machine counts are even more accurate that this example so the total error will be even less.

There's zero compelling evidence there is several MILLION missing/fraudulent votes to overturn the outcome. Zero. Overturned elections happen at a municipal and county level where a couple hundred votes matter. People are in fantasy land grasping for millions.

that might change numbers, but Democrats have reverted to kumbaya mode already and we're going to get steamrolled.
