4. Telling angry, terrified people their feelings are "not useful" won't work.

And shaming them when they express those feelings is not useful.

Most people are not in higher income brackets, they do not have a big cushion to protect them.

Life may get very hard, very quickly, for them in the next four years.

Empathy and understanding will be more useful right now.
