Are they going to backtrack on the mass deportations?

Just before I left hurriedly out the door to do an errand, I read somewhere, maybe a post on blue sky, that Mike Johnson claimed there will be no mass deportations and the deportations would singularly focus on undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes.

The article said that the Republicans and the media were playing a game with the world "mass deportations." So I looked it up and it seems that there is a difference of opinion between Trump and Mike Johnson. Trump is in favor of deporting 20 million people, but Mike Johnson is the one that wants to stop at the criminals, so 4.5 million.

Speaker Mike Johnson says up to 4.5M migrants will be ‘first priority’ for mass deportation

Should former President Donald Trump win back the White House, as many as 4.5 million migrants who entered the US illegally will be a “first priority” for deportation, House Speaker Mike Johnson told The Post in an exclusive interview.

Trump, 78, has already floated the removal of “nearly 20 million” migrants if he becomes the 47th president — and his closest ally in the House sees an opportunity to fast-track the removal of the most dangerous of the lot.

“There’s about 4.5 million who would be the first priority for that, people who’ve already committed crimes,” Johnson (R-La.) said Thursday. “They’re in the system now [for] shoplifting, or whatever it is … or [having] done things that are untoward or unlawful.”

That's the trick. In the Magat brain - being here undocumented is illegal. It's a crime. That's why we see miserable hateful people refer to the undocumented as (their words) "Illegals".

Not buying it - and I intend to be miserable to any maggot who gives Trump a free pass on that.

For a while there, I felt a sense of relief. Now, back to gloomy.

(other than entering the country illegally). I have no idea where he's getting that number from

Also, there is likely nowhere near 20 million here illegally either. I do know where that number comes from - Trump just pulled it out of his ass.

The asshole says:
“They’re in the system now [for] shoplifting, or whatever it is … or [having] done things that are untoward or unlawful.”

Untoward and unlawful like existing, maybe.

What is "untoward" exactly? Having to eat or breathe while migrant?

4 or 5 and use some footage from a 3rd world country showing masses being horded across some sandy clime , and claim it’s the southern border which will be sort of true , but it will be Southern Africa or somewhere and his rabid followers will cheer .
MSM will sanewash , and tout his promises kept .

... logistics are a bitch. This is gonna take a lot of people and cost a lot of money, and for all their storm and fury they don't have any plan for how to pull it off. I suspect that six months from now folks are going to be asking when it will start.

We are not talking about the most competent of people, here.
