to do otherwise is a clear sign that the US Senate has lost all credibility. Senators have long been considered higher level statesmen that members of the house.

Let's see how many senators live up to your expectations. If I was in the Senate and wanted to be fair Rubio is the only appointee I'd vote for because why I disagree with his politics he's not a buffoon like Gaetz, Hesgeth, and Kennedy, or security threat like Gabbard.

11. I think it is actually something different, but similar ending

I think that Gaetz is a 'squirrel' moment, look over here to keep the gaze off of Michael Flynn who recently said he was open to being Tulsi Gabbard's Deputy as DNI.

DNI is what Flynn wants. He would never get cabinet approval, HOWEVER, (please correct me if this is not the way it works), the big push to allow recess appointments is happening. I don't think that Deputy positions have senate approval. The problem with Recess Appointments is that they have a limited time. So Tulsi will either fail, or time out as a recess appointment at DNI, but there is Michael Flynn, as Deputy, waiting in the wings to take over. He wants DNI (Director of National Intelligence which oversees CIA, Homeland Security, and others, I think the FBI as well)

So where my thought process could be wrong is: Is the President required to Senate Approve a Deputy when a replacement is made? If not, then I think I have this spot on. If it does require Senate Approval to promote a Deputy to the position, you can just ignore my thought process here.

Very afraid of this.

Did not like that smiling picture of Joe Biden, Jill Biden and Trump. Not saying it is Biden's fault but boy. Hope he knows what is coming with Trump.

I hope Dems are serious about protecting against dictatorship. I am not very confident

They are the "deluxe shit sandwiches." They will make the "regular shit sandwiches" that replace them seem not so bad.

This is also drawing our attention away from seriously scrutinizing a weird election result by any stretch of the imagination.
