Sometimes there are disrupters or those that don’t want to play nice.

But EarlG has a good system and environment that has been built with our community and it is a good place.

A lot of smart and wise people of various backgrounds who can help bring up important information and discussions.

A place of like minded, reasonable thinkers. Where heart matters as much as intellect. Where we strive to be better people who debate with critical thinking and sound evidence. Unfortunately, I think we are in the minority.

but don't forget to venture out often for a different perspective to challenge the mind. It's good medicine 💊 to help keep one sharp and alert.

I peruse FR daily for the comments, it is like the comic section. Unbelievable that people actually write that stuff. I think everyone should sign their name, if you write you should own it.

to obscure the reality outside, other bubbles act as a lens to focus the reality outside so we can better understand it.

I prefer the latter.

Is that with full control of the government, cracking down on free speech won't have to be by force.

They tried it during Bush.

Change the law to make it easy to go after those who criticize legally.

Perhaps even with criminal penalties.

Sites like this can't deal with that kind of legal battle financially.

Daily Kos is dealing with it right now, and they haven't even started yet.

It makes me shudder.

No attacks on females here, no insults, Admin and the mods kept things honest and civil.
