Generally, investigations result from accusations. Investigations result in criminals being charged with crimes when there is probable cause to believe those crimes actually occurred.

I believe the DOJ investigated these particular claims before? No charges, at least not yet. I'd guess there aren't any legs on this one.

The victim wouldn't agree to testify. She refused to cooperate with the investigation at all. I don't bring that up to point a finger at her, she was already violated, she doesn't need the likes of us to second guess her. Like many victims, she didn't want to go through the public humiliation of a trial. Especially a trial pitting her against a powerful abuser whose defense attorneys would put her through the ringer on the witness stand. ALL of that out in public for the world to see.
