The trump stock market rally

Many people on Wall Street wearing trump shirts and MAGA caps on the days after the election and fueling the 1400ish bump on November 6th.

This morning, I crunched numbers from November 4th to November 15 and my 401K increased a whopping 0.143%. No drum roll pleas. I can't afford it.

The S&P 500 has been down about every day this week. NASDAQ Composite doing much the same. Could it be the trump stock market rally is a ... no ... perish the thought.

without batting an eye: “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris could not sell voters on the strength of the economy. Now, Donald Trump is poised to enter the White House with booming markets and solid growth. Expect him to reap the political rewards.”

Safe haven stocks were decimated this week. Anything that could be tinged by inflation destroyed. Yet not sparking a precious metals rally. Hedging is the game. Lots of tax selling til January.

A world where in a broad sense capital is off-loading risk onto consumers and citizens is untested. How low will consumption go? It's not on any financial system radar, not mentioned in the press. A world without government services, paralyzed FBI and DOJ, collapsing federal revenues, lawlessness, banks allowed to take risk with no FDIC, broker accounts without SIPC. Uncertainty.

By June I expect a financial plunge. Bank holidays are not off the table.

a painful, writhing, agonizing and deplorable republican reality.

THESE are the wages of sin.

Not that the G.O.P. gives a shit about sin.

All the fools celebrating having been nominated or appointed to posts in the Trump Restoration should take note of what happened to his last bunch of nominees and appointees. Most of them ended up being investigated, indicted or convicted, and no one of escaped with their reputation intact.

They keep up with Crypto Currency. This bubble will burst. Markets will follow. The trump clown show is ill-equipped to even boil water but will do what they do best and that is blame everyone for their shortcoming. That will not be enough by a longshot.

I did that during his last administration (I use the word loosely) and forewent some profit.

But I think the first months of this one are going to be a complete shit show. And then, like with everything he does, the chaos will run out of steam and the inevitable paralysis will set in. I'll reconsider then.

At least that's my plan right now. Who knows how things will shake out?
