We used to argue over delivery

of healthcare. We used to discuss the socialization of healthcare, merits versus drawbacks. The main argument was that a sick person might have to wait a long time when they needed immediate care, under the versions practiced by other countries. Those models were not pleasing to our capitalistic, free enterprise style of delivery.

We are faced with the appointment of a man to head HHS who is not a doctor, who has no experience in such matters, and is blatantly offered this position because Donald Trump owes him politically. Bob should know better than to accept this position.

Not only are they talking about cutting off any access to health care by reducing services offered, and categories of eligible people, but this man apparently proposes to stop research and vaccination programs for almost a decade. Well, I guess by then we will have depleted our stockpiles of lifesaving shots, so they don't have to say anything else about it being a permanent cessation. We just won't have any left.

What was the first thing Trump did when he got sick with COVID-19? He ran to the medical facility in the middle of the night, and got his shots. So, I hardly think that our new, fascist government will do without. But, we will.

With the elimination of the requirements for shots, masking, and social distancing, you know that nature will take advantage of our stupidity and reassert itself. We will have another outbreak of something that wants to kill us all. Even if it is just a local outbreak of cooties, we'll get it in the neck, because there will be no vaccinations or treatments.

I'll bet Bob can't answer the questions that would or will be put to him by those that are not as stupid as he is stupid. A bright high schooler can see how this will not work out. There is really no reason for inflicting millions of people with this man's personal nonscientific health beliefs. Just because he wants to die from some future infection or illness doesn't mean that we all want to do so.

Anyone who puts this man, or helps to put this man, in a position of such magnitude will be complicit in any deaths that occur because of him and his idiot beliefs. We ordinarily do not blame anyone like this, otherwise who would take this position? Yet, I believe that if you know someone is unqualified and you enable him anyway, then you own some of the blame.

This is the same way that the deaths of the women who needed immediate medical intervention for their pregnancies and were instead told to wait in the parking lot, or told to go home and subsequently died, are on the heads of those legislators who took their healthcare away. They own that, from the USSC on down. Everyone of them.

We have to root for our guys in Congress to prevent the installation of these incompetent people, one by one for as long as it takes. Our guys and gals are in my prayers. It can't be pleasant nowadays. But, they have to fight for us. We are shell shocked right now. We've only got a little while left. Somebody think of something.

Really, this is one of the most asinine things I've heard of lately. Trump's cabinet is going to be filled with the stupidest, most uncouth and unfit people we have ever seen. It's like a badly written cartoon show. The clown car is now a clown train. And, we don't even know how it happened.

After 2 kids died after getting their measles vaccine. They found out that it wasn’t because of the vaccine but a sedative had been added to the vaccine. But even though that was known the local anti-vax people still pushed the lies. Then RFK jr. talks to the prime minister and convinces him to drop requirements. 83 children died of the measles.

9. The HHS Secretary usually isn't someone who is a doctor.

The current Sec of HHS, Xavier Becerra isn't.

Neither was Norris Cochran, Alex Azar, Eric Hargan, Charles Johnson, Mike Levitt, Kathleen Sebelius, Sylvia Burwell, or Donna Shalala

Don Wright, Tom Price were former physicians.
