These people, including the previous Trump appointed Attorney General, made Michael Cohens life in prison miserable just because they could. They will brutalize Hunter.
He needs to issue hundreds of preemptive (meaning for crimes supposedly committed but not charged) pardons before he leaves office.
He needs to issue pardons for all his associates that are at risk.

(26,691 posts)Trump has already pardoned unrepentant drug traffickers and violent felons. Hes vowed to pardon the j6 criminals.
This would be nothing but a blip after the sensible woodchucks tut tut for a couple days. The sooner the better.
Heck, do it while sex offender Gaetz is still on the nomination for AG. Hell never have a better excuse.

2) Any member or witness to the January 6 commission
3) Any January 6 conviction that does not explicitly involve violence toward a police officer, sedition, or conspiracy/ insurrection.
The third one will pre-empt Trump and force him to pardon the violent offenders.

Not limited to Watergate related crimes. Just anything that could be construed of as a federal offense that happened between those dates. Biden should take a lesson.

(2,429 posts)Robert Hur was appointed Special Counsel to investigate Hunter Biden's tax issues - nothing more. Once they didn't find what they were hoping, It was Her who decided to go "fishing for felonies" and came up with the gun charge based upon comments Biden made in a book. Garland should have shut it all down - overruled Hur - when he went off the course and to the gun charge. The fact that Garland didn't should have resulted in his termination, but we know why Joe didn't do that. But when freaking Trey Gowdy admits that no person has ever been singularly charged for this and that it really isn't right to do so, you know Her did something not acceptable even to Conservatives.
If I were Hunter and Joe didn't pardon me for the gun charge, I'd never speak to him again.
