I actually laughed out loud..I gotta say EarlG I have never enjoyed a US presidential campaign this much.
Ever since Vance and Walz have arrived on the scene this has become the funniest thing I have ever seen.

It is a refreshing change from the whole dark creepy portentous Nazi thing.

Hats off to the internet jokesters who made the couch meme viral. They are this election season’s Tina Fey..I remember how awful it was in 2008 when Palin first came on the scene..she lasted longer than this dude.

I can’t see Vance without collapsing into giggles..🤭. I don’t feel outraged by anything he says. I hope he keeps talking..he is a gift to democrats, feminists, liberals, progressives..

Shady needs to catch up, maybe go to Walmart and see how many older men and women are working in their later years just to keep a roof over their heads. Is he going to tax his billionaire pals enough that we can pay the elders who would like to care for grandkids, but can't afford to?

He might also do well for some visits to institutions of learning, medical and tech research. Perhaps an evening at the symphony would broaden his outlook. Does he go out to eat? Does he know there are female chefs and some have been around a while.

He REALLY hates his mother, and she might deserve it. The rest of us do not deserve his sullen disrespect and he has enough money to get some much needed therapy.

Among the Iroquois people (Haudenosaunee) adult women of childbearing age had a say in the government of the Confederacy of their tribal nations. Precisely because they were women who spent more time with children as they grew up and knew the behavior and character of the children raised in their clan, their assessment and nomination of candidates for governmental positions was valued. The eldest female in a clan was the Clan Mother who advised younger people and had governing authority in the clan. You can still see the respect for elders among them today, even though their governing system has changed.

Now that I am a senior woman, I've noticed more than when I was younger that other cultural and social groups in the US value elders as well.
