CBS Sen. Sanders: "Israel is losing the war in terms of how the conflict is perceived''

Dec 10, 2023

Sen. Bernie Sanders tells "Face the Nation" that "Israel is losing the war in terms of how the world is looking at the situation" in the Middle East. "I think it would be irresponsible for the United States to give [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu another $10 billion to continue to wage this awful war," he added.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned on this platform how one of my friends (whose Jewish) granddaughters and the group of her friends left Tik Tok because so many from the US were so anti-Pres. Biden and falling for lies and propaganda, about how he is supporting Hamas and Israel against the Palestinian's The Chinese platform is overwhelming filled with told with anti Pres. Biden LIES even though there is information now coming out that not only did tRump's buddy and Jared's god-daddy Bibi KNOW about what Hamas was plotting a year or so ago, but since many in Israel were protesting his crooked ass, he sat back and was hoping to use what Hamas did for leverage, because he's in such trouble. His own people, military, police, and many in the military were protesting against him. Putin was in with Iran and Hamas and he and his body doubles are smiling from ear to ear hearing that Pres. Biden in some people's eyes is responsible for what Hamas did in using it's own people as disposable human shields 👀 But nope, Hamas is fighting for it's own people says many on Tik Tok, this whole mess is all Pres. Biden's fault, say many Muslim who now plan to not vote for Pres. Biden in 2024 in the US, the MANY who are brainwashed and who are pro-religious fanatic right-winged Israel Likud guy Bibi/religious fanatical right-winged Hamas on Tik Tok. Lord have mercy

Then there's the matter of the Gaza perimeter.

This is one of the world's most sophisticated and militarized such barriers (cats can't even walk along it without getting zapped - as many Gazan children know so well).

And yet, on that day, it was disactivated for hours without triggering alarms in IDF monitoring stations?? And after Bibi had been informed for months that a massive attack was in the works???

Hey - they don't call him the Israeli Machiavelli for nothing.

If the Israeli government wants this jawdropping amount of starting money, we could have it be conditional on the Israeli government causing the violence against Palestinians in the West Bank to stop. Perhaps it could be conditional on meaningfully reducing Palestinian civilian casualties in Gaza immediately. Or maybe ending "administrative detention" (detention without charges or due process) or unwinding the endless land grab and removal of Palestinians expressed by 'settlers.' Conditions on aid can influence behavior of the recipient.

By releasing all hostages and surrendering everyone involved in the October 7 atrocities. That is a simple, uncontroversial and guaranteed way to save lives. Every individual on this site should support that solution.

I don’t know how you can have a permanent ceasefire with Hamas who has said before October 7 and after October 7 that they want to destroy Israel and they want a permanent war. I don’t know how you have a permanent ceasefire with an attitude like that.
