(21,497 posts)appealed it, so 11th Circuit court is handling the appeal. They are supposed to make a decision by the end of this month.

(95 posts)I think he will probably win the removal, but it doesn't matter he will still loose the case.
It will still be a state charge, he still can't get a federal pardon, and it will still be prosecuted by Fani Willis.

One thing to consider with appeal for removal- it's not like a normal appeal a court case- the 11th can start all the way from square one- almost a complete "re-do"

(6,830 posts)My guess is this maneuver was predicted and gamed out by her office long before Meadows' lawyers even thought of asking for the change of venue, and her office will see it stopped dead in its tracks.
